Growing Together
The Strathcona Community Hospital Foundation was established in 2008. From the very beginning, we have been committed to enhancing healthcare within our community. We proudly celebrate the exceptional care and services we have while we continue to advocate for the resources and innovations to meet the needs of tomorrow.
By listening to patients, families, and healthcare professionals, we identify opportunities to make a meaningful difference.
Through advocacy, philanthropy, and community partnerships, we help fund equipment, programs, education, and initiatives that allow Strathcona Community Hospital to provide care beyond what is possible through standard healthcare funding alone.
Working Together for Better Community Healthcare
It is an honour to serve as Chair of the Strathcona Community Hospital Foundation and to work alongside a dedicated Board of Directors, volunteers, donors, and community partners who share a commitment to strengthening healthcare in Strathcona County.
Our Foundation exists because of the generosity and compassion of our community. Every gift, every volunteer hour, and every community partner helps provide essential equipment, supports staff education and wellness, and enhances the care available at Strathcona Community Hospital.
As we look to future growth, we remain focused on today’s responsibilities of stewardship and meaningful collaboration, while ensuring the Foundation continues to make a lasting impact for patients and families. Together, we can meet the evolving healthcare needs of our growing community.
Thank you for your continued trust, generosity, and ongoing support. We look forward to building on the Foundation’s strong legacy and working to advance exceptional healthcare here is Sherwood Park and Strathcona County.
With gratitude,

Making An Impact
Our Foundation is committed to advancing healthcare at Strathcona Community Hospital by funding priorities that go beyond standard healthcare budgets. Through the generosity of donations, fundraising initiatives, and community partnerships, we invest in equipment, programs, education, and innovations that improve the patient experience, support healthcare teams, and strengthen care for our growing community.
Relationships
Everyone can make a difference, and every act of generosity matters. We partner with individuals, families, businesses, and community organizations to ensure donations have a meaningful impact in the Strathcona Community Hospital. By building lasting relationships with our donors and recognizing their generosity, we create opportunities for our community to invest in better care, stronger healthcare services, and a healthier future for everyone.
Our Community
Our community is at the heart of everything we do. As local volunteers, donors, and advocates, we are proud to support the hospital that serves our families, friends, and neighbours. Together, we celebrate the care we have, while investing in and advocating for what our community needs. Through your support and shared generosity, we bring people together to make a lasting difference close to home.
Donate Today
Support healthcare right here in our community with a direct donation to the Strathcona Community Hospital Foundation. This year we have focused our attention or raising $75,000 for TWO new GLIDESCOPES.
These are high-tech “video periscopes’ used when a patient can’t breathe on their own… sometimes Doctors have only seconds to place a life-saving breathing tube. When every second counts, the Glidescope can reduce intubation time by HALF! Traditional tools require a ‘straight-line’ view of the throat, the GlideScope changes the game by using a tiny, integrated camera and digital monitor to ‘see around the corner’… giving Doctors a clear HD view of the airway. This ensures life-saving tubes are placed perfectly, which is even more critical when the patient is just a child.
